Joined EWC in 2011.
Started writing poetry during school days but the incentive to publish emerged much later towards the end of her career when ‘Daily News’ opened the poetry corner. Since then she has contributed to other papers as well.
By profession a retired science teacher she spends her leisure on reading, writing, gardening and handwork- embroidery.
In 2011 she won the 2nd prize for poetry in the EWC poetry competition for the poem “Class On The Railway Sleepers”.
I Remember is a collection of anecdotes on village life. It was approved as a school library book by Educational Publication Advisory Board.
